NFL Preseason schedule: Views on Week One

For all of those who are counting the days for the NFL Football Season to start. I have put together a little bit of info on the first NFL Preseason games to start heating up the engines. So go look for your calendar and mark up the dates and games you want to catch from the NFL game schedule.

First game of the NFL Preseason football will be held on August 3rd at 8:00 pm eastern time: Indianapolis Colts Vs Washington Redskins. This should be a nice start: The Colts have won five NFL Championships, including two Super Bowl titles, most recently in 2006 in Super Bowl XLI beating the Chicago Bears. Some fans have been expecting the same kind of performance for the past two years so, they owe certain strength to the public; on the other hand money talks since the Redskins are the second most valuable franchise in the NFL, valued at approximately $1.467 billion.

On August 7th we have many games to choose from the NFL schedule:

New York Giants vs. Detroit Lions at 7:00 pm
Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots and New York Jets vs. Cleveland Browns at 7:30 pm each.
New Orleans Saints vs. Arizona Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Chicago Bears at 8:00 pm

All those NFL games are also set on Eastern Time. Things to highlight about these teams:

Last NFL season, the New York Giants set the record for most consecutive road wins.
The Lions have won four pre-Super Bowl NFL Championships, the last in 1957, but have not qualified for the Super Bowl yet.

The Patriots were defeated by the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII, after winning the first 18 games of their 2007 NFL Football season; this means they will be strong to claim what they lost during last NFL season.

The rest of the NFL Preseason games of the week have a little something for everyone, on August 8th:

Philadelphia vs. Pittsburgh at 7:30 PM
Seattle vs. Minnesota at 8:00 PM
San Francisco 49ers vs. Oakland Raiders at 10:00 PM

And finally on August 09, we will have many NFL matches to choose from:

Buffalo vs. Washington at 7:00 PM
Tampa Bay vs. Miami Dolphins at 7:30 PM
Atlanta vs. Jacksonville at 7:30 PM
Indianapolis vs. Carolina Panthers at 7:30 PM
Broncos vs. Houston at 8:00 PM
St Louis vs. Tennessee at 8:00 PM
and last but not least…
Dallas Cowboys vs. San Diego Chargers at 10:00 PM
